Q
& A
Insurance
Companies
From
your experience, what types of products and features have worked
well for conservation programs?
Each campaign is unique, based on
the priorities established by the client company. We work hard
to understand and fulfill the needs and goals of our client for
the campaign. The client decides upon the products we are to offer
in advance. In some campaigns, our mission is to stem the outflow
of money. In others the job has been to offer additional services
of the client. Our overall objective in each campaign is to improve
the quality of the relationship between our client company and
its customers.
Do
you work with any other companies, such as phone banks, in a conservation
campaign?
We prefer not to. We have found
that we can better control the quality of our results if we rely
on staff and contractors who work solely for us on campaigns.
Outcomes are more predictable, and the project stays focused on
the mission. Claremont works well with other vendors if the client
has decided to utilize multiple teams on a project.
How
does Claremont Group handle client servicing?
Because our objective is to promote
the relationship between the insurer and its customers, we prefer
to work in concert with our client's policyholder service department.
Claremont Group staff handles typical agent services (i.e., supplying
policy change forms, etc.) then defers to the company to take
on its normal duties.
How
does Claremont Group charge fees and expenses?
The primary means of payment are
commissions and overrides based on the successful execution of
the conservation process. Claremont Group has also performed fee-based
consulting services. Unless otherwise outlined in the contract,
all expenses for a campaign, including postage, salaries, and
production costs, are covered by Claremont Group.
How
does Claremont handle client privacy?
All client information is kept in
strictest confidence. Each member of our staff is required to
sign a tough non-disclosure agreement and is bound to maintain
confidentiality and propriety in dealing with customer files.
Do
you cross market other company's products during a campaign?
Absolutely not! The customer is
not our opportunity to sell another company's products. We adopt
the mindset that we are a part of our client's sales and service
team. Any investment or service options discussed with a policyholder
will be provided by our client. At the outset of every conservation
campaign, a marketing agreement spells out very specific guidelines
for how customer information is handled, as well as specifics
of how we will offer the services and products of the client.
This binding agreement even details how our representatives will
refer to themselves when speaking with customers, and how we will
answer the phone.
What
licenses do your agents hold, and where is Claremont Group licensed?
Our agents hold Life, Variable,
and Securities licenses, and Claremont Group can do business in
48 U.S. states. Call our office for a specific listing (800) 929-1834.
